Rosemary M. Garcia

Rosemary May Garcia, 72, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home with her family at her side after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Rosemary May Tourtillott, March 21, 1943, on the Menominee Indian Reservation, daughter of the late Dolores Simmons (Tourtillott). She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Miles and Rose Tourtillott. Rosemary was a registered nurse and her specialty was geriatric nursing. She loved and had a heart for the elderly. She retired in 2011 after a 34-year career. She loved to read and visit with friends and family. She is survived by her two daughters Annette (Marty) Koleno and Michelle (Rich) Dotterer, and her seven grandchildren Kaitlin, Casey, Jesse, Mandy, Becca, Jessica and Kennedy. Her daughter, Lorie Waukau, preceded her in death. There will be a memorial for Rosemary on the Wolf River at the end of the Fanny LeMay Road at 10 a.m. Aug. 1, 2015. There will be a potluck at Dick Dodge’s home at 11 a.m.
