Acting Clintonville Mayor Lois Bressette has taken out papers and filed to run as a candidate for mayor in the April 2016 election. Newcomer Jonathan Bayless has taken out papers but has not yet filed them.
Races are shaping up in several aldermanic districts. Incumbent Jim Krause has taken out papers but has not filed in the First District. Newcomer Lance Bagstad has filed papers as a candidate.
In the Second District, Incumbent Gloria Dunlavy and newcomer Chuck Manske are circulating papers.
In the Fourth District, incumbent Mary-Beth Kuester has filed her papers. Newcomer Tim Zilch and
former Alderman Mike Hankins are circulating papers but have not yet filed.
No one has taken out papers in the Third and Fifth Districts.
Incumbents have until 5 p.m. Monday to file non-candidacy papers.
Papers are due to Clintonville City Hall no later than 5 p.m. on Jan. 5.
