Proceedings from Nov. 6 Corey W. Stewart, 19, Oconto, made an initial appearance on charges of disorderly conduct and physical abuse of a child intentionally causing bodily harm, which allegedly took place Nov. 4 in Oconto, and disorderly conduct and repeated sexual assault of a child, which allegedly took place between April 4, 2012, and April 4, 2013, in Oconto. His appearance is continued to Nov. 12, and a $1,500 cash bond was set. ^ Proceedings from Nov. 5 Joshua P. Smet, 24, Gillett, stood mute at his arraignment for, as a repeater, being party to burglary, party to theft and party to obstructing an officer, all of which allegedly took place Sept. 20 in Gillett. The court entered a not guilty plea to each charge on his behalf and set a pretrial conference for Dec. 6 and a jury trial for Jan. 29. His $1,500 cash bond continues. James E. McDonald, 24, Oconto, entered not guilty pleas to strangulation and suffocation and disorderly conduct. He was arrested Sept. 8 in Oconto Falls. His pretrial conference will be held Dec. 5, and a $500 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Nov. 18 for Laura L. Dey, 34, Oconto. She is accused of retail theft by intentionally concealing merchandise on Sept. 12 in Oconto, being party to theft of movable property in Oconto Falls on July 10, July 15, July 24 and Aug. 4 in Oconto Falls, and felony bail jumping on Sept. 7, Aug. 4 and May 1. Her $15,000 cash bond continues. A preliminary hearing was held for Shawn L. Kramer, 49, Lena. She is charged with felony bail jumping, which allegedly took place Sept. 28 in Lena. Her $10,000 cash bond continues. Christian L. Matelski, 26, formerly of Suring, now of Gillett, entered a not guilty plea to causing criminal damage to property on July 28 in the town of Mountain. His pretrial conference is Dec. 5, and a $200 cash bond continues. Gary G. Rosek, 59, Suamico, entered not guilty pleas to driving while intoxicated and with blood alcohol content greater than the legal limit, both fifth or sixth offenses. He was arrested July 28 in Little Suamico. His $2,500 cash bond continues.
