July 23 Deputies logged 28 incidents, including the following: Accident — Authorities investigated a car and dump truck accident on County S and Sundew Road in Sobieski in which one person was trapped. The Eagle III medical helicopter was called to the scene. Emergency — Authorities investigated a call from a mother who received word her daughter was going to kill herself on Franklin Street in Oconto Falls. Agency assist — Authorities assisted the Forest County Sheriff’s Office in locating a suicidal woman driving on Highway 32/64 in Suring. Traffic — Authorities investigated a report of a person driving without a valid license on Highway 41. The person was driving into Oconto County from Marinette. July 22 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Accident — Authorities investigated a report of a woman whose vehicle was struck from behind at a stop sign on Highway 32/22 in Gillett by a male driver. Juvenile problem — Authorities investigated a report of a 15-year-old who was threatening family members and smashing items at a home on Hale Road in Oconto. Ambulance — Authorities assisted an elderly woman on Mayflower Lane in Gillett. Suspicious — Authorities investigated a report of a man with a backpack going from business to business looking in the windows on County F in Lakewood. Citizen dispute — Authorities intervened between a husband and wife who were arguing on Moody Road in Abrams. July 21 Deputies logged 37 incidents, including the following: Juvenile problem — Authorities investigated a report of an unsupervised 2-year-old walking in a back yard on Warrington Lake Drive in Gillett. Traffic Miscellaneous — Authorities investigated a report of a man hitchhiking on Highway 41 south of Oconto. Alarm — Authorities investigated a motion alarm sounding on Michael Circle in Gillett. Extra patrol — Authorities assisted residents on Downtown Lane in Gillett after they reported a man was hanging around the park in Underhill over the weekend. Animal lost — Authorities investigated a report of a missing 2-year-old dog with a microchip in the area of Schroeder Road in Oconto Falls. July 20 Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following: Juvenile problem — Authorities investigated a report of a juvenile who was out of control at the courthouse on Washington Street in Oconto. Accident — Authorities investigated a report from the Wisconsin State Patrol of a vehicle that hit the railroad gates on County J and Brown Road. Found property — Authorities investigated a report of a 3-foot-tall square in the road at County S and Financial Way in Little Suamico. Suspicious — Authorities investigated a report of a truck driving up and down Sherrie Lane in Gillett. July 19 Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following: Domestic — Authorities investigated a report from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office of an unwanted party causing an issue at a home on Hogsback Road in Lena. ATV complaint — Authorities investigated a report of a motorcyclist who lost control on Weso Creek Road Trail. Juvenile problem — Authorities investigated a report of a girl trespassing at a home on Hilbert Road in Sobieski. Traffic report — Authorities investigated a report of bales of hay in the road on County S and East Sundew Road in Sobieski. Accident — Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that hit the ditch on County S in Sobieski. July 18 Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following: Noise disturbance — Authorities investigated a report from a neighbor of loud music on Highland Drive in Oconto Falls. Accident — Authorities investigated a report of a car on its side in the ditch on County J in Little Suamico, with a report of three males running north on County J. Welfare check — Authorities investigated a report of a suicidal man on Bayshore Road in Oconto. ATV complaint — Authorities investigated a report of an intoxicated woman driver on Highway 32 and County T in Townsend who fell off her four-wheeler. Suicide attempt — Authorities investigated a report of a suicidal man on McKenzie Street in Gillett. July 17 Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following: Accident — Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that hit the railroad crossing sign and was in the ditch on County J and Lakeview Road in Little Suamico. Unwanted party — Authorities assisted with the report of an unwanted ex-boyfriend on North Rosera Street in Lena. Ambulance — Authorities assisted with a man who believed he experienced a heart attack driving on Timberline Road at North Stiles Tower Road in Abrams. Threatening — Authorities investigated a report of a man on Berry Lane in Little Suamico using Facebook to harass and threaten others. Accident — Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that hit a dump truck on Highway 64 and County ZZ in Pound.
