Sept. 2 Deputies logged 22 incidents including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a one-vehicle accident on Star Lake Road in Mountain in which a truck struck a tree. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of someone stalking a home on Busy Nook Road in Oconto Falls. Disturbance - Authorities assisted a resident at a REM home on Mirro Drive in Gillett who was out of control and destroying property. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of a mailbox that was smashed in the overnight hours on South Chase Road in Sobieski. Sept. 1 Deputies logged 22 incidents including the following: Vehicle Theft - Authorities investigated a report from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office regarding someone on Jameson Way, Little Suamico, driving a stolen vehicle. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of someone driving north in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 41 in Abrams. Animal Problem - Authorities investigated a report of a horse that was found and doesn’t look well cared for on County Road W in Crivitz. The owner said the horse keeps breaking out because of a bear in the area. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of someone taking jewelry and coins from a home on Military Road, Lena. Aug. 31 Deputies logged 37 incidents including the following: Vehicle Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle taken from Ball Park Road in Little Suamico. The owner left the keys in a vehicle for his daughter to pick up. When he got up in the morning, the vehicle was gone, and his daughter did not have it. Fire - Authorities assisted with a fire at a farm building on Sellen Lane in Oconto Falls. Traffic Offense - Authorities investigated and needed assistance from Marinette County on a high-speed chase on Frog Pond Road and Pine Avenue in Oconto. Speeds exceeded 90 mph and the pursuit ended with a foot chase through the woods. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a three-vehicle race on U.S. Highway 41 just south of Oconto. Aug. 30 Deputies logged 36 incidents including the following: Civil Matter - Authorities investigated a report of three intoxicated people on South Rangeline Road in Oconto, where a small child was in the home. The mother was called and picked up the child. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a man on Robinhood Lane in Gillett who was causing a disturbance. Harassment - Authorities assisted with a tenant on Groninger Street in Suring who reported being harassed by the landlord as he tried to move. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of someone stealing a pontoon trailer on state Highway 64 in Pound. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of an accident on North Kelly Lake Road in Suring in which a man was injured. Aug. 29 Deputies logged 30 incidents including the following: Unwanted Party - Authorities assisted with a report from Seneca Foods on Green Bay Avenue, Gillett, of a man in the lunch room who refused to leave. He had been terminated from his job and asked not to return. Juvenile Problem - Authorities investigated a report of a teen party on Mcdonald Street in Oconto. Weapon Offense - Authorities investigated a report of shots being fired after dark at the end of Bayside Road in Little Suamico. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of chain saw taken from a shed on Valentine Road in Abrams. Theft - Authorities investigated a civil matter involving items taken from a shed on Gohr Road in Krakow. Aug. 28 Deputies logged 27 incidents including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a man sitting in a vehicle for a long time on East Frontage Road in Abrams. Unwanted Party - Authorities investigated a bar patron at the Pipeline Bar on state Highway 32 in Suring who was intoxicated, causing problems and refused to leave. Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report of a stop sign missing from Oak Orchard Road and Moody Road in Abrams. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a money bag with cash and Packers tickets taken from a vehicle parked in a yard on County Road J, Little Suamico. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report from a person on County Road J in Little Suamico of drugs found in a vehicle that was purchased from C W Budget Auto in Abrams.
