GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Oconto Falls dominates Waupaca Emily Kilmer had 17 kills and Mikaela Thomson added 26 assists as Oconto Falls defeated Waupaca, 25-11, 25-13, 25-7, Thursday night. Sophomore Sarah Sprout served eight aces and recorded 10 digs. Panthers win Tuesday quad Oconto Falls defeated Berlin, Chilton and Little Chute en route to a quad victory Tuesday. The Panthers dropped just one game all night. Emily Kilmer recorded 21 kills in the three matches. Mikaela Kraemer had 69 assists, and senior Alyssa Nelson served seven aces throughout the three game. Gillett loses tight match to Coleman Gillett fell to visiting Coleman in five sets, 27-29, 25-23, 25-16, 24-26, 15-7, Thursday night. Maya Breed led Gillett with nine kills, and Faith Sorlie added five. Jessica Anderson had 22 assists for the Tigers, and Myranda Pratsch had 13 digs . Megan Wolfe recorded three aces and the lone block kill for Gillett. Gillett falls to Elcho in five-setter Maya Breed had nine kills and six digs as Gillett fell to Elcho, 25-14, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 15-8, on Sept. 8. Jessica Anderson added 19 assists for Gillett. Myranda Pratsch tallied four service aces. Willow Pecha led the Tigers with eight digs in the loss. GIRLS GOLF Panthers place fourth at Shawano Oconto Falls took fourth place, 22 strokes out of the lead, Thursday afternoon at a Bay/NEC North Divisional Meet at Shawano Lakes Golf Course. Kalie Elkins led the Panthers with a round of 49, while Bridgett Gorman shot a 53 and Brittany Russell added a 57. Rebecca Berkovitz rounded out the scoring with a 59. Marinette won the invite with a team score of 196 with the help of Kayla Thielen, the invite’s medalist, who shot a round of 45.
