• Jacqueline Rochelle Cyburt, 27, Menominee, Michigan, was placed in institutional care for five years. Judge Jay Conley on Oct. 23 had found her not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect of second-degree recklessly endangering safety in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 17, 2023. Conley gave her credit for 81 days served in the county jail.
• Bond was set at $25,000 cash for Gary E. Borkovec, 48, Oconto, after he was charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 28. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Feb. 13.
• Andrew J. Miller, 41, Menominee, Michigan, was charged with resisting an officer and causing substantial bodily harm or a soft tissue injury, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, operating while revoked, possession of THC and disorderly conduct, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Jan. 6-7. During his initial appearance Conley found him in contempt of court and sentenced him to 30 days in the county jail without bail. The appearance was adjourned until Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Brandon M. Lewis, 35, Gillett, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 28. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $500 cash for Kelly L. Lucas, 35, Gillett, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 28. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.

• Venus Marie Nelson, 39, Green Bay, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to victim intimidation threatening force and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 15. Conley scheduled a pre-trial conference for March 13.
• Bond was set at $6,000 cash for Robert T. Vorpahl, 47, Abrams, after he was charged with felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 7. Conley adjourned his initial appearance for Jan. 16 and ordered a competency exam. Vorpahl is also charged with stalking in connection with an incident that allegedly Dec. 23. A pre-trial conference in that case is also scheduled for Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Bernie J. Cudnohosky, 77, Pound, after he was charged with a sex offender registry violation that allegedly occurred Aug. 2, and failure to provide information as a sex offender, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 27. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.

• Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Randy L. Brempell, 53, Lena, after he was charged with burglary to a building or dwelling, two counts of misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor criminal damage to property, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Oct. 19 and Dec. 15. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.
