Peshtigo National Bank has announced the launch of its new fair project scholarship, a program designed to support and recognize the hard work and dedication of county fair participants.
This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to young farmers and fair participants who are actively working with fair animals.
“At Peshtigo National Bank, we understand the vital role that agriculture plays in our communities and the importance of fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders,” said Kelly Heroux, president and chief executive officer at Peshtigo National Bank. “We are proud to offer this scholarship as a way to support and encourage the educational pursuits and fair projects of local youth.”
The $100 scholarship is open to all Shawano, Marinette, Oconto, and Langlade county fair participants. Applications are due on or before Aug. 15.
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their application materials, with special consideration given to the dedication and effort demonstrated in their fair projects. Recipients will be notified in August, and their achievements will be showcased by Peshtigo National Bank to highlight their contributions to the local agricultural community.
