The Gathering closes its doors in June

There will be no more gathering at The Gathering in Shawano. The banquet hall and restaurant closed for good after serving one last Fathers’ Day brunch in June. The Gathering, 2600 E. Richmond St., has been sold to Charter Aarrowcast, which is directly east of the restaurant. Keith and Kelly Baumann continue to own and operate Farm Inn On Main Restaurant and Bakery, 123 N. Main St., Shawano. Charter is comprised of four companies — Charter Steel, Charter Wire, Charter Dura-Bar and Charter Aarrowwcast. According to its website, Charter Aarrowcast produces ductile and gray iron castings for customers in various industries. From government and defense customers to agricultural and heavy truck equipment manufacturers, and an array of companies who need pumps, valves and compressors, Charter Aarrowcast creates custom castings.
