Shawano’s girls soccer team hosted its second home game of the season April 9 and satisfied their appetite for victory with a 15-0 Bay Conference win over Green Bay West.
The Hawks (2-1) wasted no time in getting on the board. Freshman Kendall Knope scored the opening goal in the first 42 seconds, with an assist from junior Darcie Erdmann, who finished the game with a hat trick.
Senior Caitlyn Moede had one goal and two assists. Junior Trinity Popelka scored seven goals and had one assist. Junior Gracie Gumieny scored her first varsity goal. Sophomore Maddy Pyatskowit scored two goals and had two assists.
Adrienne Rekow, Maddie Moesch, Sophia Eggert and Kendall Knope each had an assist for the Hawks.
Goalkeepers Brynlie Boyles and Lily Glysch teamed up for a shutout for the Hawks.
