NWTC event focuses on health care, law enforcement

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College presents a Health Care and Public Safety Career Awareness Spotlight on April 18 from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30-2 p.m. at NWTC Shawano, 111 Thomas Ave., Shawano. Participants can find out more about area careers in health care and public safety and learn more about the opportunities available locally for employment, education and advancement. The event will feature staff from NWTC, Shawano Ambulance, ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano Police Department, Total Fitness, Advanced Physical Therapy and more. Spotlighted careers include nursing, health care administration, health information technology, emergency medical services, wellness and health, physical therapy, law enforcement and criminal justice.
