Winnebago Strutters Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its annual banquet March 16 at Pullman’s Restaurant in Appleton.
The doors open at 3 p.m. with a buffet-style dinner at 5 p.m.
More than a dozen firearms, sporting goods and decorative items will be raffled and auctioned. Those attending are eligible for dozens of door prizes. Proceeds help support conservation and habitat efforts for the wild turkey, a modern success story funded by sportsmen.
Cost of the event is $70 per person, which includes the meal and annual NWTF membership. Couples pay $120, and a table of eight is available for $480, which includes eight memberships, eight meals and $200 in raffle tickets. A Boss Toms table of eight is $880, which includes everything above plus a Canik pistol.
