Monfils, Matz lead Shawano at Pulaski meet

Teagan Monfils and Nick Matz led their respective Shawano Community High School cross-country teams at the 35th annual Red Raider Invitational on Thursday in Pulaski. Monfils finished 21st overall, with a time of 16:01. Kristy Kurtz finished in 16:47 for 42nd overall. The Hawks girls finished in 11th place as a team with a score of 268. Marquette (66) won, followed by Green Bay Notre Dame Academy (70) and West De Pere (249). The Shawano boys finished eighth overall with a score of (207). Matz came in 23rd overall at 17:44.
