Marie Judd, of Madison, and formerly of Oconto Falls, died Sunday morning, Dec. 27, 2015, at Oakwood Lutheran in Madison. She was born on Dec. 29, 1911, in Oconto to John and Christine (Shipla) Housner. On Jan. 12, 1934, she married Harvey Judd in Marinette.
Marie lived all of her married life in Oconto Falls. Following the death of her husband, she moved to the Madison area to live closer to family. She also spent seven winters in Florida with her son, Jim, and his wife.
Survivors are her son, Jim (Dee) Judd, The Villages, Florida; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, on June 13, 1987; her son, John “Jack,” on July 19, 1986; and a daughter-in-law, Pat Judd, on June 2, 1984.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
