Leroy “Butch” Krause, 79, of Clintonville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Pine Manor nursing home in Embarrass. Leroy was born on June 23, 1935, in Shawano to the late John F. and Frieda A. (Kuhn) Krause. He lived all his life in the Shawano area. He farmed with his parents in the town of Belle Plaine until 1971, when he moved to Shawano.
Leroy is survived by his cousins and friends.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with the Rev. Todd Jerabek officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the service.
