Lena Dairyfest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the St. Anne’s Parish grounds in Lena.
The day will begin with the annual 5K Stampede Run-Walk. Registration will start at 6 a.m., and the contest begins at 8 a.m. at Lena School. For information, call Chad Misco at 920-373-2319.
A parade will start at 10:30 a.m. at the west end of Lena and proceed down Main Street to the St. Anne’s Parish grounds. Entrants should line up by 10 a.m. Parade marshals Jim Lukas and Gayle Tonn Lukas will lead the parade. For information, call Steve Carlin at 920-373-0209.
Music entertainment by Party Boys will start at noon, followed by Carlin and Cain from 3-6 p.m. and Renegade at 9 p.m.
The farm tractor pull will take place at noon. The truck pull will start at approximately 6 p.m. There is free admission for both the truck and tractor pull.
During the day, the food and ice cream stands will be open. Free kids events will include a petting zoo run by Lena FFA members and face painting by Brianna and Maddie. The Lena Museum will be open for tours.
The Lena Lions Club organizes Dairyfest, and with the support of sponsors, offers free entertainment at the annual event.
