Janice A. Wendt

Janice A. Wendt, 69, Green Valley, died rather suddenly Thursday morning, Dec. 24, 2015, at Appleton Medical Center. The only child of Florence Wendt was born on Oct. 22, 1946. Janice grew up in the Green Valley area, where she attended grade school, later graduating from Bonduel High School and later attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Janice lived in the Green Valley area all of her life. She worked in many area banks in many different capacities. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Green Valley, Pulcifer (later Faith United), and was currently a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pulaski. Janice was always willing to help others and volunteered for numerous church functions as well as Wolf River Lutheran High School. She will also be fondly remembered as a talented artist who enjoyed painting nature scenes and giving them to family and friends. Survivors are her very close cousin, Jane (Allen) Schenkoski, Gillett; several other close cousins and friends; and her precious dog, Mindi Mae. She was preceded in death by her mother, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation with the urn present will be held after 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 910 S. St. Augustine St., Pulaski, until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Larry Yaw officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pulcifer.
