Hollander partners with cafes to celebrate workers

Hollander Chocolate Company spread holiday cheer in Shawano and Port Washington this season by partnering with local coffee shops and cafes to honor the communities’ public workers. They offered free hot chocolate and discounted specialty chocolate drinks throughout the holidays as a thank you to those who keep the community safe, connected and thriving. Public workers, including first responders, health care staff, educators, and city and county employees were invited to visit participating coffee shops and cafes to enjoy hot chocolate and discounted specialty chocolate drinks made with Hollander’s signature gourmet chocolate. The initiative aims to recognize their hard work and commitment, particularly during the busy and often challenging holiday season. “Hollander Chocolate Company is rooted in community, and this partnership reflects our gratitude for the people who make these communities a wonderful place to live,” said Doug Podzilni, president at Hollander Chocolate Company, based in Port Washington. “By collaborating with local coffee shops, we hope to bring a little warmth and sweetness to those who give so much to our community.” Podzilni opted to expand the giving program to Shawano this year, as he has a cottage on the lake and spends a lot of time in the area. Building on the success of this initiative, Hollander plans to expand the program to more communities in the coming years, further spreading their mission of appreciation and connection. Shawano partner locations include The Daily Drip, Heather’s Beans and Books, The Gourmet Café at Thornberry Cottage and Classics Restaurant and Lounge.
