Gene “Breezy” Cloud, 53, of Beloit, passed away on July 19, 2015, in Gresham.
Gene was born on April 7, 1962, in Chicago, the son of Isabel Cloud and the late Eugene Cloud.
On March 14, 2003, in Rockford, Illinois, Gene was united in marriage to Joanna Parr. He was a champion pool player, enjoyed Packers games and loved his grandchildren.
Gene is survived by his wife, Joanna; his children, Gene (Charms) Cloud Jr., Jennifer Cloud, James (Ashley) Cloud, John (Lacie) Cloud, Isabel Cloud, Jimmy Cloud, Lonnell La Fernier, Robert Dean Clay, Greg Wright, Gary (Ashley) Wright and Mitchel Wright; his grandchildren, Angelika, Gene III, Alex, Maqenna, Samara, Christian, Savannah, Warren, Sebastian, Octavia, Airreanna, Calista, Owen, Azeliah, Dakota, Miles and Zevah; his mother, Isabel Cloud; his brothers and sisters, Tad Cloud, Troy (Wynona) Cloud, Merceline Cloud, Wayne Cloud and Kinepoway Valliere. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and his sidekick, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by two children, Kyle and Leanne; his father, Eugene; two brothers, Jeffrey and Robert; and his grandparents, Jerome and Merceline Sanapaw.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the Joey and Boo Sanapaw residence, N1126 state Highway 47, Keshena, with Myron Payawasit officiating. Visitation will be held at the Sanapaw residence until the time of the services. A prayer service and drumming will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, by Myron Payawasit and the Smokey Town Singers. Burial will be in West Branch.
