Birnamwood and Mattoon residents will decide village board races in April, but most other village candidates across the area are running opposed.
Here is a partial listing of area village, town and city races on the April 5 ballot, with primaries to be held Feb. 16 as needed. The filing deadline for the spring election was 5 p.m. Tuesday, but some communities have not yet reported their filings.
