Sam Falck took first place to lead the third-place Bonduel High School boys cross-country team at the Rosholt cross-country invitational Thursday in Rosholt.
Falck finished in 17 minutes, 7 seconds, beating Rosholt’s Jim Liebe to the finish line by 24 seconds. Teammate Isaac Palmer crossed in 17:43 to take fourth and Travis Wollenberg crossed at 17:47 for sixth place.
The Bonduel boys finished third with a team score of 68. Medford won with a score of 54. Wittenberg-Birnmawood (138) took fifth. Clintonville (224) was eighth and Menominee Indian (234) was ninth.
On the girls side, Clintonville won, led by first-place finisher Allison Johnson, who crossed in 15:31. Johnson crossed just four seconds ahead of Bonduel’s Mallory Mews.
Clintonville finished with a team score of 60. Bonduel (108) finished third. Wittenberg-Birnamwood (121) was sixth, followed by Marion (174).
