June 11 was the passing of the gavel with the Knights of Columbus Bishop Fox Council 2836 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano.
Longtime Grand Knight Lee Bosdeck passed the gavel to Doug Erdman, who will take the reins for the next year. Erdman will lead the assistance of Stu Kohlin, deputy grand knight and also guide committees such as membership, programs, faith, family, community and life.
The next event for the local knights council will be the membership drive, community events include Charlie’s Red Barn, the Sacred Heart Picnic and a presentation of the check from the money raised from the latest Tootsie Roll Drive, which goes to Lakeland Industries in Shawano.
