Eagles, Chargers, Hawks scored in double digits in softball wins

Menominee Nation 20, Weyauwega-Fremont 7

Gloriana Wayka hit 3-for-3 with a triple, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored as the Eagles dominated the Warhawks 20-7.

Vanessa Madosh had 2 RBIs and a run scored, while Avani Nieves hit 2-for-2 with a double at 2 RBIs. Natalie Peters also had 2 RBIs, 4 runs scored and a triple. Whiloe Windorski also scored 4 runs.

Cecilia Grignow pitched 3 innings to pick up the win. She gave up 4 runs on 1 hit, walked 2 and struck out 4.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 18, Amherst 1

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s bats pounded out 21 hits as the Chargers beat the Falcons 18-1.

Jayda Moenke hit 4-for-5 with 6 RBIs, 2 runs scored and a triple. Zoey Thorson hit 4-for-4 with an RBI, a double and 2 runs scored.

Chloe Hanson and Megan Fischer each connected on a double.

Rory Salvesen had 3 RBIs, while Brie Ladika and Madison Fisher each had 2.

Kendall Lex pitched all 5 innings. She allowed 1 runoff 5 hits and struck out 2.

Bonduel 6, Iola-Scandinavia 2

Bonduel batters had 16 hits in a 6-2 win over the Thunderbirds.

Marlie Hartman was 3-for-4 with a double, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Haley Conradt hit 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Gracyn Wudtke, Allison Zernicke Mary Margelofsky each hit 2-for-3, and Juliana Jacobs was 2-for-4.

Maddie Hart hit a double.

Every Thompson pitched all 7 innings for the win. She allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, walked 3 and struck out 9.

Shawano 10, New London 4

The Hawks scored 6 runs in the second to blow open the game and beat the Bulldogs 10-4.

Amiyah O’Kimosh hit 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and 3 RBIs.

Jacey Cowden hit 2-for-4, and Jaelyn Hietpas hit 2-for-3. Each scored twice.

Gracee Johnson hit 1-for-3 with a double, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.

Kadence Meyers also hit a double.

Meyers also was the winning pitcher, working 4 innings, giving up 1 run and 2 hits, walking 2 and striking out 5.
