Dorothy E. Schultz

Dorothy Elizabeth Schultz, 95, was reunited with her husband, Elmer, Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. She was born in Shawano on Feb. 19, 1920, to the late Hugo and Marie (Zeuske) Raddant. Dorothy was married to Elmer Schultz on May 21, 1942, in Oshkosh. She worked at Sunbeam in Milwaukee for 24 years, retiring in 1983 and returning to Shawano with her husband in 1987. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, reading and doing word puzzles, was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and loved her flower garden. She was a loving sister and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Leon) Krause, and their family, Debbie (Jim) Woeshnick, Diane (the late Pat) Hintz, Marilee (Jeremy) Bruns; sister-in-law, Winifred; special great-niece, Katie Hintz, who lived with her and was her helper and caretaker; special great-nephew, Eric Hintz, who helped her out whenever needed; Tiffany Ross, who was a part-time caretaker; a special neighbor, Donna Lenzner; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Harley, Kenneth and Marvin “Boots” Raddant; and two sisters, Norma Voelz and Irma Buelow. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at Swedberg Funeral Home, Shawano, with the Rev. Roy Rinehard officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Shawano.
