Donna Jean Neosh, 72, of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, in Green Bay. Donna was born in Keshena on Nov. 11, 1943, the daughter of the late Mose and Edna (Shawanomitta) Neosh. She was born and raised in Keshena and lived in Chicago during her teens. In her 30s, she moved to Green Bay where she resided until her death. When Donna was younger, she had an interest in and followed politics, especially tribal politics. She always encouraged her family and friends to vote. She supported firearm protection and firearm safety. Donna loved attending powwows, bike riding, fishing, and was an avid Packers fan. She volunteered her time helping St. Vincent DePaul and the Salvation Army, especially bell ringing. She was a member of and volunteered at Mana for Life Ministries. She was a very family oriented, loving mother and grandmother and will be extremely missed by her family.
Donna is survived by her children, Luane Barrios, of Keshena, Tonia (Luis Roberts) Neosh-Cornejo, of Black River Falls, Maria (Jaime) Doxtator-Alfaro, of Oneida, Michelle Doxtator, of Oneida, Bonita (Efrain Cruz) Flores, of Sheboygan, and Ramon Neosh, of Green Bay; 17 grandchildren, Jasmine, Sonya, Dorothy, Telia, Kendall Jr., Jerah, Meesha, Alexander, Analicia, Amaya, Efrain, Naul, Nia, Devyn, Ramon, Keylee and Delano; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Neosh.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jolene; three grandchildren, Arthur, Keneh and Cheyenne Adele; her parents; and three brothers, Neil, Lyle and Leonard Neosh.
Private family services were held. Swedberg Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
