• Juan M. Chavez, 22, Shawano, was charged June 24 with strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct. Judge Katherine Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 3.
• Kaylean J. Frechette, 27, Shawano, was charged June 24 with two counts of child abuse, four counts of felony bail jumping and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $2,500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for June 27.
• Virgil R. Wilber, 52, Neopit, was charged June 24 with battery and disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater, along with a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing and officer. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 3.
• Trisha A. Cardish, 44, Suring, was charged June 24 with three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of operating while revoked and violating an ignition interlock device order. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 24.
• Misael Portillo, 35, Waukesha, was charged June 25 with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct and victim intimidation. Sloma set a $10,000 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 2.
• Dustin P. Andre, 42, Shawano, was charged June 25 with strangulation and suffocation, child abuse, and misdemeanor bail jumping. Sloma set a $10,000 signature bond. In a separate file, Andre was charged June 25 with attempted strangulation and suffocation, two misdemeanor counts of battery and one count of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $5,000 cash bond in that case and scheduled a preliminary hearing in both cases for July 1.
• Lena M. Malone, 33, Wittenberg, was charged June 25 with two counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
