Sex offender registry violation
A man required to register in two states as a convicted sex offender was charged in Shawano County this week with two counts of violating the Sex Offender Registry in Wisconsin.
An arrest warrant was filed Monday for Aaron J. Hendrickson, 32, whose last known address was in Minnesota.
Hendrickson was convicted in Shawano County of second-degree sexual assault of a child in December 1998. He is required to report any change of employment or address to the state registry.
According to the criminal complaint, Hendrickson was fired from his job in August and moved out of his residence that same month. He is also wanted in Minnesota for failing to comply with the sex offender registry there, according to the complaint.
Hendrickson could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine on each count if convicted.
Escape
A Keshena man who allegedly went missing from the Huber Work Release Center last week is facing a felony charge of escape.
Philip E. Boyd, 37, could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, Boyd failed to return to the work release center from an appointment at the Menominee Tribal Clinic on Nov. 5.
Boyd was sentenced to six months in jail with Huber privileges in September on a felony charge of misappropriating identity information to avoid a penalty after being pulled over for a traffic stop in May. He was also sentenced to a concurrent 45 days in jail for obstructing an officer.
A warrant for his arrest was issued Wednesday.
