Bonduel 11, Rosholt 1
Bonduel broke the game open with seven runs in the third inning courtesy of three hits and four walks, and never looked back, scoring two more in the fourth to get an 11-1 win over Rosholt in five innings.
Charlie Tauchen threw four solid innings to earn the win, striking out four. Beckett Hartlaben threw a scoreless fifth inning.
Easton Reinke paced the Bears with two hits, including a double, with Colin Margelofsky, Hartlaben, Tauchen and Race Anvelink each adding a hit.
Anvelink and Tauchen each scored three runs. Reinke and Margelofsky had three RBIs apiece.
Mason Bembenek had two hits for Rosholt.
Bonduel improved to 2-1 (1-1 in CWC East play) for the year.
Niagara 2, Gillett/Suring 0
Gillett/Suring was shut out 2-0 at Niagara, putting them 0-2 in the M&O standings.
Three Lakes/Phelps 13, Lena 7
After winning a pair of non-conference games earlier, Lena dropped its third contest 13-7 to Three Lakes/Phelps.
Oconto Falls 16, Waupaca 3
The Panthers pounced on Waupaca and easily won 16-3 in the North Eastern Conference game.
New London 4, Shawano 3
Shawano 7, New London 1
Shawano and New London split a doubleheader, as the Hawks improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Bay Conference.
Trailing 3-2 after four innings, Shawano scored twice in the fifth inning for the win.
Warner Beyer and Tom Keszo each had two hits for Shawano.
Pete Bruette took the loss on the mound.
In the second game, the score was tied 1-1 after four innings before Shawano scored four runs in the fifth and another two in the seventh.
New London had six errors in the game.
Crew Weisnicht was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Carsen Herm had two RBIs.
Keszo was the winning pitcher, giving up five hits and striking out seven.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 13, Westfield 4
Wittenberg-Birnamwood pounded out 10 hits and continued to score as they beat Westfield 13-4.
With a 1-0 lead after the first inning, the Chargers exploded for five runs in the second inning, only to see Westfield battle back with four of their own in the bottom of the inning. But, Wittenberg-Birnamwood scored four more runs in the fourth inning and another three in the sixth to seal the win.
Evan Meverden hit 3-for-4 with a double and home run and knocked in three RBIs. Zandyr Barke hit 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Keegan Benbo also had two RBIs. Ian Salvesen had a double.
Keegan Schmid was the winning pitcher, giving up two hits while walking five and striking out four in three innings.
Hayden Miller and Hudson Miller combined to pitch the other three innings.
