Beverly J. Bird, 63, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in Green Bay. Born on Aug. 6, 1950, in Keshena, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Webster) Barnes Sr.
After attending college, Beverly married William C. Bird. The couple lived in the Appleton and Green Bay areas for several years. Beverly worked in a paper mill. She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. In her free time, Beverly enjoyed riding Harleys and was a member of the DC Eagles Motorcycle Club.
Beverly is survived by her husband, William; a daughter Neit-Mo “Nena” Bird; three granddaughters, Samantha, Ariana, Vivian; two brothers, Russel, Calvin; and two sisters, Marcene and Irene.
Beverly was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Vigue, her parents and six brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center in the Kiefer Memorial Room until the time of the service on Saturday. A parish wake service was held at the memorial room at 7 p.m. Friday.
