4 Shawano County Library branches to change hours

Beginning April 1, several branches of Shawano County Library will have new hours of operation: Birnamwood, Bonduel, Tigerton and Wittenberg. “This change was made to offer additional library hours during the mornings when we see more patron traffic,” said Nancy Bell, library director. “Branches will be open mornings, afternoons and one evening past 5 p.m. each week as well as their usual Saturday hours.” • Birnamwood, 337 Main St.: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. • Bonduel, 125 N. Washington St.: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. • Tigerton, 221 Birch St.: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. • Wittenberg: 302 S. Cherry St.: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will be no change to the hours of operation at the Mattoon branch and the main library in Shawano. • Mattoon, 311 Slate Ave.: 2-6 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. • Shawano, 128 S. Sawyer St.: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday. In addition to holiday closures, all branches will be closed April 23 and Oct. 22.
