The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office has identified three people killed in a crash Saturday in Oconto Falls.
The crash happened at the intersection of state Highway 22 and County Road I in Oconto Falls shortly after 6:30 p.m.
The vehicle was being driven by an 82-year-old Lena woman who survived the accident and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The three passengers killed in the crash were Grace Hyland, 89, of Oconto Falls, Edward Yashinsky, 91, of Lena, and Leora Raisler, 96, of Oconto Falls.
Authorities said the driver failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit broadside by a van driven by a 35-year-old Oconto Falls man who was traveling west on state Highway 22.
The three elderly victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Of the five people in the van, three were treated for injuries.
Police believe alcohol and speed were not contributing factors.
The accident remains under investigation.
