Shawano sweeps Green Bay East
Senior setter Annelies Young had 25 assists and five digs to lead Shawano past Green Bay East on Thursday night, 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.
“I am extremely proud of these ladies tonight,” Hawks head coach Jessica Cumberland said. “They really pulled it together. They started strong, and they finished strong.”
Senior middle hitter Erika Dunnam added 13 kills and five digs, while Miranda Washinawatok dug 10 hits for Shawano.
Wildcats remain unbeaten in CWC
Senior Taylor Hoffman recorded 15 assists, while Hailey Hoffman tallied 16 digs as Gresham defeated Tigerton on Thursday night, 25-16, 19-25, 25-14, 25-12.
Sydney Jensen had 16 kills to lead the Wildcats (10-3, 6-0 Central Wisconsin Conference-10).

Hawks draw with Freedom
Shawano played Freedom to an even 0-0 draw Thursday night.
Tyrell Hesse recorded nine saves on the night to move the victorious Hawks to 2-7-1 overall.
Panthers fall to Phelps
Gresham/Bowler gave up a first-half goal to Phelps to fall behind before Levi Ludvigsen scored in the second half on an assist from sophomore Todd Otradovec on Thursday.
Drew Haffner played in the goal and tallied eight saves, but it was not enough, as Gresham/Bowler fell 2-1.
