Gillett falls to undefeated Coleman
In a battle of unbeatens in the Marinette & Oconto Conference on Friday night, Coleman emerged victorious over Gillett, 41-8.
Alex Zeitler had 284 yards passing and Gillett’s lone touchdown. Brett Milhans led the Tigers (5-1, 3-1 M&O) in rushing with 49 yards on 11 carries. Leeland Kahler had 174 receiving yards on just seven catches. Broden Bennon had 70 receiving yards and one TD.
Clintonville defeats Panthers, 21-13
Austin Kowalczyk ran for two scores in the second quarter to give Oconto Falls a two-score lead Friday, but the Panthers could not sustain it, falling 21-13 at Clintonville.
Kowalczyk had 80 yards on 15 carries for Oconto Falls (1-5, 0-5 North Eastern Conference). Brice Delzer had 56 receiving yards on two catches.
Clintonville improved to 2-4 overall, 1-4 in the NEC.

Oconto Falls fifth at Titan Tussle
Shelby Coron was voted to the all-tournament team with 28 kills and eight blocks as Oconto Falls finished second in its pool and lost to top-seeded Oshkosh Lourdes in the first round of the playoffs at the Titan Tussle in Oshkosh on Saturday.
OFHS senior Emily Kilmer had 31 kills and 32 digs in the team’s four matches. Setter Mikaela Thomson recorded 77 assists and three aces.
Panthers fall in straight sets
Emily Kilmer and Carolyn Malcheski each recorded four service aces in Oconto Falls’ 25-20, 25-22, 25-18 straight-set loss to Wrightstown on Thursday.
Kilmer added 10 kills to lead Oconto Falls, while Shelby Coron added eight. Malcheski had 15 digs.
Suring tops Gillett in 4 sets
Azee VanBellinger tallied 21 digs and three aces in Suring’s 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21 victory over Gillett on Sept. 21.
Katie Stegeman had 11 kills for Suring, while Courtney Heimerl added 14 assists.
For Gillett, Megan Wolfe had 10 assists. Faith Sorlie added six kills, and Jessica Anderson had four aces. Myranda Pratsch had seven digs.
