Harriet M. (Huntington) Brooks, 80, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Winter Haven. She was born in Shawano to the late Bert and Esther (Russell) Huntington.
On Oct. 31, 1959, Harriet was united in marriage to the late Robert F. Brooks. The couple moved to Florida in 1960 and resided there for the remainder of their lives.
Harriet is survived by her son, Larry (Marietta) Brooks, of Florida; two granddaughters; six great-granddaughters; sister, Delores Ziemer, of Shawano; brother, Bert Huntington, of Shawano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her sisters, Lydia and Merlin Heinz and Annabelle and Harold Fust; her brother, Harry and Dolores Huntington; and her foster brother, Elwood Badeau.
A visitation was held Sept. 13 at the Oak Ridge Funeral home in Winter Haven.
