Golf outing to raise funds for honor flight

The fourth annual Vets 4 Vets of Oconto County benefit golf outing will be held June 6 at Red Maple Golf Course in Suring. The event raises funds for World War II and Korean War veterans to take the Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. The event starts at 10:30 a.m., with registration at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $65 per person. The cost includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, buffet and gathering to follow. For those not golfing, the buffet will be $15. There will be bucket raffles, a meat wheel and a 50/50 raffle. Golfers will have a chance to win a Jeep Renegade provided by Chrysler World with a hole-in-one on the 11th hole and a Mongoose 90 ATV provided by American Marine & Motor Sports for a hole-in-one on No. 17.
