Frank Daniel LaRose, 63, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015.
Frank was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 3, 1951, to the late Frank W. and Delores E. (Zunker) LaRose. He graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1970 and enlisted in the United States Navy. In 1985, Frank moved to the Shawano area from Milwaukee. He was involved in the Shawano County Literacy Program and as a volunteer at the Shawano County Bread Basket. In his free time, Frank enjoyed cake decorating, as well as gardening, both indoors and outdoors.
Frank was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Shawano.
Frank is survived by one daughter, Crystal LaRose, of Neenah; former wife, and mother of Crystal, Cheryl Vick, of Neenah; two stepsons, Shawn Klug, of Milwaukee, and Michael (Kaila) Klug, of Shawano; two brothers, Jim (Peggy) LaRose, of Minnesota, and Robert LaRose, of Florida; and three sisters, Mary (Scott) Bennett, of New Jersey, Pat Zimdars, of Waukesha, and Lois LaRose, of Milwaukee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from noon until the time of the services.
