Eleonora M. Schroeder, 93, Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. Eleonora was born July 31, 1927, in the Town of Hartland to the late William and Eleanor (Drage) Schulz.
On Aug. 17, 1968, Eleonora married Wilfred “Will” Schroeder at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, the Rev. Virgil Joss officiating. The couple lived and farmed in Underhill township until Will retired in 2002. Eleonora was previously a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett. She is a current member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Eleonora greatly enjoyed flowers and watching old movies and “M.A.S.H.”
Eleonora is survived by her brother-in-law, Ray Schroeder. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will, in 2005; infant daughter, Lori Ann, in 1969; and brother, William Schulz, in 2020.
A funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark R. Palmer officiating. Eleonora was interred at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery beside Will.
