Shawano 7, Cecil 6 After jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, Shawano got another run in the second to lead 5-1. Cecil chipped away at the lead and eventually trailed only 5-4 heading into the sixth. Two runs in that inning gave the Mudhens a 6-5 lead, but Shawano answered in the bottom of the inning as the Lobos’ Lukas Postl knocked in a run on a single to tie the game. In the bottom of the ninth, TJ Arrowood scored on a wild pitch to end the game. Eric Stenson earned the win, pitching 3 2/3 innings, striking out one, walking one and giving up one hit. Ryan Coffey went two for three with a double. Postl was two for five with an RBI. Grant Bystol was two for five with two RBIs. Ryan Boettcher took the loss for Cecil. Other scores Bonduel beat Pulaski 5-3, Hofa Park edged Freedom 2-1 and Navarino topped Nichols 6-1.
