UW-Whitewater
Bennett Frazer, a management major from Lena, is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team, which qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division 3 Championship, an eight-team, double-elimination national tournament in Eastlake, Ohio.
The Warhawks won the NCAA Whitewater Regional and Super Regional rounds to punch a ticket to their eighth Division 3 World Series. UW-Whitewater is the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champion and owned a 40-9 record entering the tournament.

UW-Stevens Point
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,300 undergraduate students for attaining high grade-point averages during the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.9-4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75-3.89, and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.5-3.74.
