Cheri A. Pleshek, 74, passed away in her home on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, in Shawano. She was born on July 22, 1947, to the late Wilbert and Ethel (Ziemer) Mouille in Shawano. She attended Shawano High School. Cheri was united in marriage with Roger J. Pleshek until his death on May 3, 1991. She was a homemaker until his passing and then used her cooking skills at the Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena. Cheri enjoyed cooking and caring for her home as well as going to rummage sales. She most enjoyed making delicious Christmas cookies with her twin sister.
She is survived by her children, Robin (Barrington) Neil, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and John Pleshek, of Shawano; grandchildren, Cassandra Heling-Pleshek and Logan Pleshek, twin sister, Sandra Montonati, of Two Rivers; and nieces, Kristy (Len) Armstrong and Julie Krogh, of Two Rivers. She is further survived by her beloved pug, Chase.
Cheri is preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents; an infant brother, Wilbert; and brother-in-law, James Montonati.
A funeral service for Cheri will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Mark Drengler officiating. Burial will be at Lake Drive Cemetery in Wescott. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 13 at the church until the time of service. A luncheon will follow services at the church.
