Chargers’ all-around game leads to win over Shiocton

April 25 Bonduel 8, Menominee Indian 0 Bonduel shut out Menominee Indian 8-0. Hailee Thompson had three hits, including two doubles. Tatum Sporisky pitched a complete game. Tigerton 5, Tri-County 3 Tri-County opened with a 1-0 lead after the first half inning against Tigerton, but that would be their only lead of the game. Tigerton gained the lead 2-1 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning. The Tigers added a pair in the fourth and another in the fifth to open a 5-1 lead. Tri-County’s final two runs in the seventh inning ended the scoring with the Tigers on top. Lillian Welch and Jade Selle each hit 2-for-3, with each credited with an RBI. Danika Tiller was the winner on the mound, allowing two hits and three runs (none earned) in seven innings. She struck out six and walked three. Wittenberg-Birnamwood 9, Shiocton 5 Wittenberg-Birnamwood put together an all-around good game in defeating Shiocton 9-5. Rory Salvesen hit 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Lillian Lemieux also hit 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Brie Ladika was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a pair of RBIs. Evelyn Fletcher hit 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Cam Miller was 2-for-3 at the plate, and Lexi Scheurer hit 2-for-4. Ella Eichman pitched a complete game to get the win. She didn’t allow any earned runs, struck out five and walked four.
