Cecil handed Nichols a 6-5 Dairyland League loss June 21 in Cecil.

Neither team scored until Cecil came up with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Nitros cut into the lead with a three-run seventh, but the Mudhens answered with two more runs in the bottom half of the inning to go up 6-3.
Nichols scored the game’s final runs in the top of the ninth inning.
The game turned into a pitching duel between Nichols’ Cade Johnson and Cecil’s Noah Beilfuss.
Johnson held the Mudhens without a hit through the first five innings, while Beilfuss allowed three hits in the first five frames.
Cecil’s Jake Polzin broke the scoreless tie with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning before a walk, error and bunt single loaded the bases with nobody out. Beilfuss drove in a pair of runs with a single, Brodie Hartman walked to load the bases again, and Trace Brehmer hit into a fielder’s choice to drive in another run.
Cecil’s runs in the seventh inning came on home runs from Easton Engel and Beilfuss.
Bonduel 9, Navarino 5
The Broncos remained undefeated in league play with a home win over the Rangers.
Jett Thielke struck out 15 batters to get the win on the mound and gave up two runs on one hit.
Navarino scored three runs off reliever Jack Reinke, and Beckett Hartlaben pitched two innings and didn’t give up a hit.
Easton Reinke had three of Bonduel’s 14 hits, scored twice and drove in three runs. Hartlaben added three hits with three RBIs, and Noah Weier scored twice.
Marinette 15, Pulaski 7 (12 inn.)
The Redbirds needed 12 innings to pick up a win over the Reds in Pulaski.
Marinette came up with eight runs in the top of the 12th inning.
Jake McMahon got the win on the mound for the Redbirds, and Rylie Nelson opened the scoring for Marinette with a two-run home run in the second inning.

Waupaca 6, Pulaski 4
Pulaski hosted the Lakemen on June 18 in a rescheduled game, but came up short after Waupaca broke a 4-4 tie with Cory Ellenich’s two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning.
Johnny Popham gave Waupaca an early lead with a three-run home run in the second inning.
The Reds had tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning.
