An employee of Bowman Performance Consulting is a member of the current Leadership Shawano County class, which held its first session of the nine-month program on Sept. 10.
“I am very excited to be given the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Shawano County program,” said Dani Ebert, of Bowman Performance Consulting. “After attending orientation and learning more about LSC, I believe it will be a great fit for me. I’m looking forward to using the knowledge and leadership skills gained through this program to grow in my current position at BPC and to make a difference in the Shawano community.”
Leadership Shawano County students will focus on understanding a variety of leadership styles and learning about the community. The course will cover economic development, family and diversity issues, government, health care and wellness, and personal engagement.
“I’m so pleased that Dani was chosen as part of the new 2015 class for Leadership Shawano County,” said Dr. Nicole Bowman, of BPC. “We’re so proud of her and looking forward to learning from her experiences. Together we’re all doing our part to make our homes, workplace and community a better place.”

Leadership Shawano County is a cooperative effort of the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce and the University of Wisconsin-Extension of Shawano County. The goal of the leadership program is to build a pool of citizens with broad knowledge of the ideas, issues and concerns faced by local communities. It is hoped that as the participants become aware of the challenges and the many existing resources, they will take leadership and active participation roles in helping to meet those challenges.
