Bonduel will celebrate its 13th annual Founders Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19.
There will be special events held throughout the downtown area.
More than 100 arts, crafts and food vendors will be located downtown on Green Bay Street and First Streets. Local school, church and civic groups also will be selling specialty items. There will be a pie and ice cream social, Amish baked goods and homemade ice cream, cookie sale and more.
There will be several booths with a variety of foods, including a brat fry, barbecue, pulled pork and hot dogs.
Ken Natzke Travels will sponsor Amish tours, which will depart the Dollar General parking lot at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person. For reservations, call 715-758-2718.
Amish buggy rides, costing $1 each, will be available at the fire department area.
The Bonduel Community Archives, on South First Street, will hold an open house.
Musical entertainment at the Vanden Brook Band Stand will be provided by Bonduel school bands, the Schmidt Brass Band, and Dave and Cheryl Schmidt.
The Bonduel Area Fire Department and the Bonduel Area EMS along with the Bonduel Police Department will hold an open house at the public safety building on the corner of Mill Street and South First Street. Depending on availability, the Theda Star or Eagle III helicopter is scheduled to land at 11 a.m.
There will also be a bouncer near the fire station for the kids.
