Shawano County Economic Progress Inc. (SCEPI) has announced the completion of a revolving micro-loan for a project in the village of Bonduel.
Greg and Melissa Trinko have received a $10,000 loan to assist with the purchase of Meadow View Estates, an assisted living facility located at 400 W. Mill St. in Bonduel.
Meadow View Estates provides services to people suffering the infirmities of age, allowing them to avoid transition to skilled nursing home facilities. This facility provides individuals the dignity of maintaining their lifestyle while receiving only the amount of assistance they require in a caring home-like environment. The Trinkos have purchased the facility with the intent to continue to maintain the high level of service to its residents while increasing the efficiency in which the services are delivered. They anticipate an increase in demand.
“The facility is full and there is a waiting list for occupancy. Current trends indicate the need for facilities such as Meadow View will only grow,” Greg Trinko said.
SCEPI’s revolving micro-loan fund program provides up to $10,000 in matching loan funds to small businesses with 25 or fewer employees for eligible projects. This program is just one business development incentive available to employers through Shawano Country Vision 2017.
