Shawano County authorities have issued a public notice regarding a convicted sex offender who moved into the village of Tigerton this week.
Dale R. Schultz, 47, was released from prison Thursday after serving a sentence for first degree sexual assault of a child. The case involved the sexual assault of a female friend of the family under the age of 5, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department said.
Schultz was sentenced in Washington County in 2005 to eight years in prison. He is required to register for life with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program.
