Adult coloring part of library’s February programs

The Shawano City-County Library will offer several free programs in February, including a therapeutic coloring program for adults. Adult programs include Needles ‘R Us at 9 a.m. Fridays and DIY Crafts & More, featuring adult therapeutic coloring, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 22. The Learning Lab schedule for the month is Borrowing eBooks at 9 a.m. and Gmail at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4; iPad Basics at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 9; Facebook at 9 a.m. Feb. 11; Pinterest at 9 a.m. and Google Docs at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 17; My Account in InfoSoup at 9 a.m. Feb. 19; and Word 2013 at 9 a.m. Feb. 24. Teen Tuesdays occur weekly from 3-5 p.m., and teens can drop in at any point to take part in fun activities and snacks. February programs will feature making valentine lottery tickets, sweetheart pickup game, strawberries and Nutella snack, and fart putty. The programs are intended for youngsters in sixth through 12th grade. Children’s programs are Baby & Me at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Story Time at 10 a.m. Wednesdays, and Gather ‘Round on at 10 a.m. Thursdays. The Shawano City-County Library consists of the main library in Shawano, branches in Birnamwood, Bonduel, Mattoon-Hutchins, Tigerton and Wittenberg, and a countywide delivery service.
