Ada N. Prochaska

Ada N. Prochaska, 84, Suring, died Thursday morning, Dec. 24, 2015, at Woodland Village in Suring. She was born March 10, 1931, in the town of Breed to Albert and Eva (Way) Lemke. Ada grew up in the town of Breed, attended Mountain public schools and graduated from Oconto High School with the Class of 1949. On Jan. 13, 1950, she married Robert Prochaska. The couple lived in the Crivitz area for most of their married lives. Ada worked as a waitress in local restaurants. While she never had any children, Ada enjoyed caring for her many dogs over the years. Survivors are one brother, Richard (Betty) Lemke, Alabama; one sister, Helen Trever, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob, seven brothers and six sisters. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery in Oconto with Pastor Dave Henke officiating. Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls is serving the family. Ada’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Woodland Village of Suring and Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care given during their time together.
