The second Oconto Nature Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Copper Culture State Park, Oconto. Admission is free.
Guests will have a chance to learn about butterflies, birds, gardening, invasive species and other topics at the educational booths and on guided nature walks at 2 and 3 p.m.
Children’s activities include a scavenger hunt and the bluebird storybook walk. People can peek inside the bluebird boxes from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Zoomobile will feature live animals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a raptor presentation with live birds of prey will take place from 12-4 p.m. Wisconsin Native Dancers will perform at noon.
Other attractions include craft vendors, a chainsaw artist and a silent auction. Food will be available, and the Copper Culture Museum will be open.

Festival sponsors are Bird City Oconto in cooperation with the Oconto Kiwanis, Section 7 Club, Oconto High School Science Club and R. L. Hall Land Title Company.
All funds raised will be used to support the festival and similar Bird City Oconto projects.
