NWTC seeks applicants for district board of trustees

Three positions available for elected official and additional representatives

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is accepting applications for three positions on the NWTC district board of trustees.

The following categories will be filled with candidates living within the NWTC district:

• Elected official representative (one position): An individual who is elected to a national, state or local office. The elected official must remain in office for the duration of their appointment term.

• Additional member (two positions): All residents of a technical college district are eligible to serve as an additional member for the board.

These representatives will serve a three-year term, beginning July 1 and expiring June 30, 2029. The college is seeking representatives from Brown/Outagamie, Florence or Shawano counties.

Applications may be obtained by visiting www.nwtc.edu/board or by contacting Kelly Casperson, executive assistant to the president and board of trustees, NWTC, 920-498-5409, or kelly.casperson@nwtc.edu.

Candidates must submit the completed application and provide at least two letters of reference supporting their nomination to via email to kelly.casperson@nwtc.edu, or materials can be dropped off in person at the NWTC District Office, 2740 W. Mason St., Green Bay.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Feb. 5.

All candidates must attend a public hearing of the district board appointment committee, at which their appointments will be discussed. The hearing and meeting are scheduled for 3 p.m. March 9 in the NWTC District Office Boardroom on the NWTC Green Bay campus, 2740 W. Mason St., Green Bay.
